As a professional photographer myself, image is everything to my business. I selected Darby for my marketing portraits, and I’m thrilled I did so! The process was fun and easy. She was able to take my vision and run with it. We did both traditional studio images and then went on location for the rest. I had so many portraits to choose from it was hard to narrow them down! I have had a number of photographic experiences with Darby over the past few years. She has done my corporate headshots for two businesses and taken photos for my websites and more than one creative boudoir session. The only challenge I have had is trying to decide which photos to use as they were all so good! I have always felt safe and respected. At 55 years of age, I don’t ever think I have looked prettier (even in the nude)! I often tell others that I love the way Darby sees me. She brings out my true essence, that of inner and outer beauty. She is my photographer of choice.

Let me first say that I really hate having my photo taken! I booked an appointment with Darby because my husband wanted a headshot of me. I almost canceled on her the morning of my appointment but begrudgingly I arrived at Darby’s studio. Let me just say that she makes this so easy! Darby had me in clothes that I was sure would look terrible and in position that felt awkward but through the whole shoot we were cracking up! She did way more than headshots. I don’t know how many times I said “oh this is NOT going to look good” and she’d just laugh and show me the camera and the photo was shockingly good! Darby’s gift is to make her clients look amazing and feel beautiful. I still can’t believe how incredible my photos are! Darby is not just an incredible artist, she is a wonderful human. You can feel her passion for making women feel beautiful and boosting their self worth.
